The Caravans-

Picture
A unique aspect of our caravans is how remote you feel and yet are only 7 minutes from Kingsbridge and 15 minutes from the sea. With only 3 caravans on site, all within their own gardens you can enjoy a good deal of privacy. Each caravan has a separate patio area complete with wooden picnic table allowing you to eat lunch outside while admiring the views and sounds of the farm and woodland birds. The views, location and endless local activities will keep you busy all holiday. We hope you have a holiday to remember. For more information on caravans, click on the "Caravans" button.

The Woodland  -

Picture
What makes this holiday location so special is the private 13 acre ancient woodland that is only open to you.
Spend a little time here walking around. Admire the woodland flowers, rabbits, badgers. Almost every day the Roe deer can be seen eating the foliage or out in the surrounding fields grazing.
At dusk the woods are full of Ravens, crows and Rooks these form spectacular flying displays over the ancient woods before they drop into the trees to sleep.

Local Activities -

Picture
The local area is literary full of unique experiences from coastal activities such as surfing in Bigbury to coasteering and sailing in Salcombe and if you don't like getting wet, there are many other activities such as Pony trekking at Slapton to a kids dream fun park at Woodlands Leisure Park (just a 5 minute drive). If you want to get away from the crowds then Dartmoor is the perfect place to walk, bike and climb. If physical activities aren't you're cup of tea, then Salcombe has some spas, swimming pools and even boat trips.

Picturesque Places -

Picture
Salcombe, Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Bantham are just some of the stunning surrounding towns and villages. Each area is completely unique full of friendly locals and holiday makers during Easter and summer. Each town or village will be packed full of events and activities such as Hope Cove weekend, Salcombe Regatta or the more bizarre worm charming in Blackawton. Check out our "events page" for more information and dates.

Food -

Picture
The local area offers lots of different places to eat, ranging from amazing food at "The old Bakery" in Kingsbridge to Tesco and Morrison's supermarkets also in Kingsbridge.
If you don't feel like driving then there are many takeaway outlets that will deliver to the farm such as Cafe Asia. If you're more of a traditional pub grub eater then I would strongly recommend the "Fortescue Arms" in East Allington (only a 5 minute drive) or the "Church House Inn" at Churchstow.
For local high quality food the "Aune Valley meat" farm shop is just down the road who sell a range of home grown meat and veg.
